Join us for a very special storytime with a guest reader police officer from Anchorage Police Department. After the storytime junior officers can try some hands-on activities and crafts.

Can't make it to a library branch for storytime? Join a librarian at the Spenard Recreation Center instead! 

Bring a blanket or chair and join us for storytime on the lawn this summer! In inclement weather the storytime will move inside to the storytheater on Level 2.

Bring your wiggliest toddlers to the library for an active storytime! We'll get up and go but we'll also sneak in some books. Stories alternate with songs and rhymes that incorporate a huge parachute!

A half hour of stories, songs, and movement that build early literacy skills. It's a blend of fun and education for children birth through kindergarten and their caregivers.

Meet at Chanshtnu-Muldoon Park by the orange climbing structure for a special storytimewith APD Officer Melissa Lampert. She'll read stories and talk about what police do and how to stay safe.

Join us at the Grow North Farm (3601 Mountain View Dr, Anchorage, AK 99508) for a special garden-themed storytime in partnership with Catholic Social Services RAIS!

Join Miss Sue for a half-hour of stories, songs, and more to build early literacy skills; a blend of fun and education for children birth through kindergarten & their caregivers/families followed by a half hour of open play and socia

Twenty minutes of nursery rhymes, songs, fingerplays and action for infants, birth to 18 months, and their caregivers. Followed by a special baby playtime.

Family Storytime moves outside to William B. Lyons Park! Meet at the park near the picnic shelter for approximately 30 minutes of stories, rhymes, and songs for ages 3-6 with caregiver, followed by an activity or free play.

Enjoy an all-ages storytime plus time to browse the library before we're officially open. Arrive as early as 10:00 AM; call 907-343-4032 for entry. Stories start at 10:30 AM.
