Help your child master school readiness skills in the year before starting kindergarten while earning books and other prizes! Countdown to Kindergarten is for children 3 to 5 years old with their adult caregivers.

Library staff from the Community Resource Group can help you with navigating paper applications, online applications, and research what resources and opportunities best fit your needs.

Get help with your family tree, scanning photos and documents, and doing research online. Learn more about genealogy resources that you can access free through the Anchorage Public Library.

Reading sessions are 10 minutes long and are scheduled on a first come basis with the last session starting at 4:20 pm. Sign-up will open at 3:15 pm with the first session starting at 3:30 pm.
