Meet Monica Hall as she reads and shares stories from her memoir Practically Still a Virgin: An Adoption Memoir. Adopted and raised during Alaska’s lawless 1970s oil-boom era, Monica grows up amid trauma and dysfunction. Monica’s essays have been published by Women Writers, Women’s Books, and the Anchorage Press. Her writing focuses on themes of identity, rebellion, self-doubt, and most importantly healing.
