The UAA College of Engineering and Anchorage Public Libraries are partnering up to offer Explore Engineering for middle school students. 

Over the course of three sessions, students in 6th-8th grade can gain a deeper understanding of different engineering fields, all while participating in fun, hands-on activities. Each session is held on a Saturday from noon to 3:00 pm and located at the Z.J. Loussac Library. Walk-ups will only be permitted if we do not reach capacity through the sign-up form, so we highly recommend signing up in advance.

Creative Coding:
April 30th
Joe Selmont, UAA College of Engineering Director of K-12 Outreach, will teach participants basic coding skills using MIT's Scratch coding language.
