All participants in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) are welcome to join in the fun of writing sprints at the Chugiak-Eagle River Library. Bring a beverage to keep you fueled--we'll provide the snacks.

Time especially for seniors to meet with library staff one-on-one for technology coaching, community resources, or help with other library questions. 

Help your child master school readiness skills in the year before starting kindergarten while earning books and other prizes! Countdown to Kindergarten is for children 3 to 5 years old with their adult caregivers.

Join us for stories, song and dance, and word play to build early literacy skills, a blend of fun and education for preschoolers and their caregivers.

Kick off the winter season with a ceremonial lighting of the library's winter decorations. Take the opportunity to make a library card on the spot with your photo ID, take a brief library tour, or just celebrate with us.  Light refreshme
