Bring a blanket or chair and join us for storytime on the lawn this summer! In inclement weather the storytime will move inside to the storytheater on Level 2.

Meet sailors from the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned warship afloat. Try your hand at some sailors knots and learn about the history of the United States Navy.

Come meet and pet goats from The Tiny Home(stead), a family farm in Chugiak, and learn about what it takes to raise animals and run a farm in Alaska. 

Want to help out at the library? Join us during volunteer time to lend a hand with light tasks and special projects. It’s a great way to support your library, gain experience, and make a difference in your community!
