Get creative and make a work of art! We'll have a specific technique to try but also a variety of art supplies to make whatever you want.

A half hour of stories, songs and movement that build early literacy skills and prepare your preschooler ages three to five for Kindergarten. Followed by a play time featuring special literacy toys and games.

30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes, plus free play or an activity. Best for preschoolers ages 3-5 with their caregivers-- all families welcome.

Join Mr. Red from the Muldoon Library online for a live virtual storytime. Best for ages 3-5 with caregiver, but all picture book enthusiasts are welcome.

Join Park Rangers talking about a variety of STEM topics, from Alaskan dinosaurs, to Sea Otters and more!

Are you an Anchorage teen in 9th-12th grade in need of volunteer hours? Come to the Loussac Library every Friday from 3-5pm! We have plenty of tasks that need your help to complete.

Drop in to volunteer for the library-- no registration needed, just show up! We may ask you to clean, dust, shelve, sanitize equipment, or help prepare for programs. 

Teens ages 13-18 only. 

The beacons are lit! The Gerrish Library calls for aid! Join us for a fun trivia night where teams will compete for awesome prizes! The Fellowship assembles promptly at 3!

The Alaska Junior Theater performers will dramatize a story celebrating Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad, followed by a craft for all ages.
