The Mt View Community Room (2749sqft) is a ready to go meeting room/space that can be easily arranged into conference room, classroom or a theater type setting, making this an excellent space for small or large meetings, community gatherings or training/presentations. The small kitchenette makes this space available for small luncheon or children’s party. The room has a projector and dropdown screen. This room/space rents for $50/hour to non-profit organizations and $60/hour for private/profit organizations. Room capacity of 80-120 is based on room configuration. This room/space must be rented for at least 2 hours. If renting before or after Library hours, additional cost for Security must be added.

The Ann Stevens Room/Galleria (Level 3) is available to rent during non-operational hours of the Alaska Collection.  This spectacular area is furnished in Nigerian mahogany, with Persian rugs and leather wingback chairs.  A marble buffet built into the room and fabulous décor make this area ready for use the moment you walk through the door.  This area rents for $75/hour to non-profits and $100/hour to for-profit groups, and has a capacity of 120.  This area must be booked for at least 2 hours.

The raised dais in the Assembly Chambers (2900sqft, not including dias) can save you time in setting up your event and provides each presenter with an individual microphone. This room is great for public hearings, training and panel discussions. With comfortable theatre-style seating, a fixed podium, a cable linking a laptop to two large viewing screens. This room rents for $100/hour to non-profit organizations and $110/hour to for-profit organizations, and has a fixed seating capacity of 232. This room must be booked for at least 2 hours. Food is not allowed in this room.

This multi-purpose, 2,500 square-foot glass Atrium is the hub of the Loussac Library as well as a breathtaking area for your special event. The dramatically lit, glass-encased space with dramatic art sets the stage for your reception, dance, or dining event. The Atrium is free to those renting either of the first floor meeting rooms. If utilized separately, the space rents for $50/hour to non-profits and $75/hour to for-profit organizations.

The Beluga Meeting Room (551sqft) is equipped with a dedicated telephone line, TV and moveable tables. This room is great for job interviews, counseling sessions, testing or a small business meeting. The rate for this room is $60/hr or $50/hr for nonprofits. Seating for 30 - total capacity 42.

The Learning Commons (2627sqft) is a ready to go meeting area easily arranged in conference room, classroom or theater setting, making this an excellent location for large meetings, training/presentations, a luncheon, or a party. Complete with a dedicated phone line. This room rents for $50/ hour to non-profits and $60/hour to for-profit organizations and has a capacity of 65/80 based on table and chair configuration. This room must be booked for at least 2 hours.

Large open space that spans the entire east wing of the building adjacent to the Ann Stevens Room. Perfect for weddings, conferences, birthday parties or retreats. Secluded and elegant, this space is ideal for special events.

The corner of 36th and Denali is a lawn area with access to electrical power. Renters are subject to Municipal policies related to alcohol, drugs or illegal acts, noise control, and safety of pedestrians and sidewalks. This space rents for a flat rate of $200/up to 4 hours to non-profits and $250/up to 4 hours to for-profit organizations.

The large lawn by the Loussac fountain ias a lovely location for an outdoor event. Electricity is available in some sections of the lawn. This space rents for a flat non-profit rate of $200 for up to 4 hours, and a flat for-profit rate of $250 for up to 4 hours.

The Moose Meeting Room (648sqft) is equipped with a dedicated telephone line, TV and moveable tables. This room is great for job interviews, counseling sessions, testing or a small business meeting. The rate for this room is $50/hr or $40/hr for nonprofits, with a 2 hour minimum rental. Seating for 30 - total capacity 42.

The Raven Meeting Room (560sqft) is set up with laptop computers and a large flat screen tv that can serve as an instructor's screen. This space works well as a classroom, computer lab, or space to work on a group project. The rate for this room is $50/hr or $40/hr for nonprofits. Seating for 24 - total capacity 42.

The Salmon Meeting Room (551sqft) is equipped with a dedicated telephone line, TV and moveable tables. This room is great for job interviews, counseling sessions, testing or a small business meeting.  The rate for this room is $60/hr or $50/hr for nonprofits. Seating for 30 - total capacity 42.

The Wilda Marston Theatre (3588sqft, not including stage) is especially designed for large presentations, lectures, plays and cultural events with excellent acoustics.  Special amenities include video conferencing, high-speed internet access, a dedicated telephone line, wireless handheld and lapel microphones, a projector, full-size pull-down screen, podium use and if you like even a piano.  Basic lighting and sound is available.  Use of extensive theater lighting requires an approved technician at user’s expense.  This room rents for $110/hour, or $100/hour for non-profits, and has seating for 211 and yet the capacity to accommodate 232.  Two hour rental minimum.
