PAWSitive Reading at Chugiak-Eagle River

Reading sessions are 10 minutes long and are scheduled on a first come basis with the last session starting at 3:50 pm. Sign-up will open at 2:45 pm with the first session starting at 3 pm.

PAWSitive Reading is a special program designed to provide young children (Kindergarten-4th grade) with a stress-free environment to practice their reading. Therapy dogs are patient listeners for new and struggling readers. Children who participate learn to associate reading with a positive experience and build confidence while practicing reading.
