To be listened to is a moment of being received without having to prove anything. And who doesn’t need that?

We can help you understand and use computers and other technology. You will get help with software issues like email, Microsoft Office, etc. or get troubleshooting help with your laptop or phone. Come in and let us help you learn. 

Kids and teens are invited to stop by the library and create their entry for Anchorage Public Library’s Youth Sticker Contest! We’ll provide crayons, markers, colored pencils, paper, and other crafting supplies; just bring your creativity.

Help us put the Nintendo Switch to good use! Bring the whole family to enjoy video games, board games, blocks, and more. 

Come and enjoy your Winter Break at the library with a good movie and delicious popcorn! Please call 907-343-4024 for title.

No registration needed, just show up. We may ask you to dust, clean, shelve, or assist with program preparation. For teens ages 13-18 only.

Stop by for some free build time - just bring your imagination!

Explore the FIVE senses through hands-on sensory stations this winter break!

All are welcome to create cards and stationery to keep or send. Use our supplies and keep what you make. Note: staining art media, scissors, small parts available. 

Finish your masterpiece in a sociable environment. All ages, all projects welcome. We'd love to see what you are working on. 

Winter Break Fun! Come build with the library's LEGO, wooden blocks, Lincoln Logs, & cardboard!

Come on by and watch a movie at the library for free! Concessions provided.

Join us for the Gerrish Book Club discussion. December’s title is The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. Cookies and coffee provided!

Youth ages 5 to 18, use our supplies to make your design for our Youth Sticker Contest! 

Approximately 30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes ideal for children ages 3-5 with caregiver, followed by free play or an activity. All families are welcome! 

Play with library toys, make friends and check out books!

Winter Break Fun! Kids of all ages, come play a board game from the library’s collection or try a game on our Nintendo Switch.

Do you knit, crochet or sew or are you a beginner looking for a start? Join us for a weekly meetup and bring your ideas or current projects.
