Pawsitive Reading Therapy Dogs

Read to a dog! Reading sessions are 10-15 minutes long and are scheduled on a first come basis with the last session starting at 4:15 pm. Sign-up will open at 2:15 PM with the first session starting at 2:30 pm.

PAWSitive Reading is a special program designed to provide young children (Kindergarten-4th grade) with a stress-free environment to practice their reading. Therapy dogs are patient listeners for new and struggling readers. Children who participate learn to associate reading with a positive experience and build confidence while practicing reading.
