Event Details

How scary of a story can you write in only 2 sentences? Your horror story may be about any terrifying topic or gruesome subject, but will be disqualified if it doesn’t follow the 2-sentence rule. Contest starts Saturday, Oct. 8 and submissions must be received by Saturday, Oct. 29 by 6 PM. Stories will be voted upon as a blind review by library staff and a Winner ($10 Jitters gift card) and Runner Up ($5 Jitters gift card) will notified by Friday, Nov. 4. Enter by dropping off you story at the library or email susan.sommers@anchorageak.gov with “Horror Story” in the subject line.
