Day Calendar

A half hour of stories, songs and movement that build early literacy skills and prepare your preschooler ages three to five for Kindergarten. Followed by a play time featuring special literacy toys and games.

30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes followed by free play or an activity. Ideal for ages 3-5 with caregiver, but all families are welcome. 

Representatives from the Department of Labor offer personalized, walk-in help with resumes, job searching, and related topics. Free, no reservation needed-- just walk in.  

Explore your inner Sherlock Holmes or Mrs. Marple. Join us to share your favorite Mystery books. Choose your own book for each discussion based on a monthly theme and share it with others.

To be listened to is a moment of being received without having to prove anything. And who doesn’t need that?

Test your creativity - build a city or a spaceship or whatever you like at our free-build LEGO session.

Try science and art projects celebrating the night sky and the aurora! Skill level: may require use of scissors, small parts, or the ability to read. Ideal for ages 8+; all welcome. 

Lights On Afterschool presents auroras!  Learn about magnets and how they affect light. Create chalk art auroras. Best for elementary school ages, will include very small parts.
