Day Calendar

Approximately 30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes ideal for children ages 3-5 with caregiver, followed by free play. All families are welcome! 

Play with library toys, make friends and check out books! 

Preschool storytime is a half hour of stories, songs and movement that build early literacy skills and prepare your preschooler ages three to five for Kindergarten.

Do you knit, crochet or sew or are you a beginner looking for a start? We will have lessons for beginning knitters with long-time beloved resident Cleary Donovan.

Join us this month for a hands-on learning experience with People Mover!
In partnership with the Anchorage Public Library, the People Mover Travel Trainer will present at
recurring gatherings to teach you how to:

Get help with your family tree, scanning photos and documents, and doing research online. Learn more about genealogy resources that you can access free through the Anchorage Public Library.

Join us for an afternoon of crafts. Each week is a different craft. 

This Week: Button Making

I Read What I Want Book Club is for those who love reading but don’t want to be tied down. Anyone who wants to talk books can come in and give reviews for whatever they are reading to the group.

A half-hour of stories, songs, and more to build early literacy skills; a blend of fun and education for children birth through kindergarten & their caregivers.
