Try out different early literacy, language, and math toys to help prepare preschoolers for Kindergarten while having fun at the same time. Stay and play, meet some new families, and check out some books.

We'll read three stories with poetry and/or bears and do a poetry activity. Ages 3-5 with caregiver. Skill level: must be able to read and write, or bring a patient adult who will read and write for you.

Bring your wiggliest toddlers for an active storytime! We'll get up and go but we'll also sneak in some books. Best for ages 18 mos. to 3 years; all families welcome.

We have computer guided basis computer competency course to help you understand and use computers and other technology. Also come in and get help with software issues like email, Office, etc. or get hardware help with your laptop or phone.

Join Park Rangers talking about a variety of STEM topics, from Alaskan dinosaurs, to Sea Otters and more!

Are you an Anchorage teen in 9th-12th grade in need of volunteer hours? Come to the Loussac Library every Friday from 3-5pm! We have plenty of tasks that need your help to complete.

No registration needed, just show up. We may ask you to dust, clean, shelve, or assist with program preparation.

Watch anime! Talk manga! Meet others who like anime, manga and Japanese culture. Programming will vary from month-to month, so come on in and be part of the planning.

Make your own bear bell to let them know you're coming. Ideal for ages 6+ with caregiver, but anyone may try. Skill level: Project uses small parts. Must be able to use scissors independently.
