Event Details

Bring a blanket or chair and join us for storytime on the lawn this summer. In inclement weather, the storytime will move inside to the storytheater on Level 2.

Please note that Thursday's Toddler Storytime is a repeat of Wednesday.

Toddler storytime is twenty-five minutes of short stories, songs and lots of repetition to build early literacy skills for children 3 and under and their caregivers. Storytimes introduce early literacy concepts for children 5 and under to help them get ready to read.

What counts as inclement weather?  Rain, the threat of rain during storytime, or wet or soggy ground; excessive wind; or temperatures 45 degrees or under, factoring in wind chill. The librarian hosting storytime will make the decision whether to move indoors approximately an hour before storytime.

Indoor Only: Toddler storytimes are limited to the first 70 attendees. Storytimes at Loussac require free entry tickets. Entry tickets are provided first-come, first-served starting 15 minutes before storytime. Thank you for your understanding.
