This Week: Button Making

Join us for a special storytime about water with a guest reader from Anchorage Water & Wastewater Utility (AWWU).

Approximately 30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes ideal for children ages 3-5 with caregiver, followed by free play or an activity. All families are welcome! 

Play with library toys, make friends and check out books!

Preschool storytime is a half hour of stories, songs and movement that build early literacy skills and prepare your preschooler ages three to five for Kindergarten.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers are available to provide tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, and are trained and IRS-certified every year to ensure they know about and understand the latest changes and additions to the tax code. 

Do you knit, crochet or sew or are you a beginner looking for a start? Join us for a weekly meetup and bring your ideas or current projects.

Library staff from the Community Resource Group can help you navigate paper or online applications and research what resources and opportunities best fit your needs.

Learn how to make a zine from Rasmuson Foundation Individual Artist Award winner MK and make a zine to take home with you.

Time to get one-on-one help with technology, community resource navigation, and traditional library reference. 

Bring your wiggliest toddlers to the library for an active storytime! We'll get up and go but we'll also sneak in some books. Stories alternate with songs and rhymes that incorporate a huge parachute!
