The Eagle River Spinners meet monthly to spin fiber together. New members are always welcome. Never spun before? Stop by for a for a free demonstration as the Spinners work on their own amazing yarns. 

Get creative and make a work of art! We'll have a variety of art supplies to make whatever you want.

A half hour of stories, songs, and more to build early literacy skills.

The first Family Storytime of the month will have an American Sign Language interpreter available.

Try out different early literacy, language, and math toys to help prepare preschoolers for Kindergarten while having fun at the same time. Stay and play, meet some new families, and check out some books.

Meet with representatives from a variety of community resource agencies that focus on housing: get a coordinated entry interview with Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness, discuss landlord/tenant issues with Anchorage Equal Rights Commiss

Learn about making and trading Artist Trading Cards-- an easy way to express yourself and build up an original art collection. Suggested for ages 10+, but everyone's welcome. 

A half-hour of stories, songs, and more to build early literacy skills; a blend of fun and education for children birth through kindergarten & their caregivers.

Time to get one-on-one help with technology, community resource navigation, and traditional library reference.

We can help you understand and use computers, smart phones, and other technology. You will get help with software issues like email, Microsoft Office, etc. or get troubleshooting help with your laptop or phone.

Twenty minutes of nursery rhymes, songs, fingerplays and action for infants, birth to 18 months, and their caregivers. Followed by a special baby playtime.

Stop by for some free build time - just bring your imagination!

Enjoy lawn games, hula hoops, and other outdoor activities outdoors. In case of inclement weather, we will move indoors to the 4th floor Learning Commons.
