Bring a blanket or chair and join us for storytime on the lawn this summer. In inclement weather, the storytime will move inside to the storytheater on Level 2.

We're looking for two teens to help at the Brooke Hartman event. Tasks include counting patrons, crowd control, setting up/taking down chairs, and more!

Join local poet and creative facilitator Brian Hutton for a hands-on Etch A Sketch workshop! Explore this classic toy in a whole new way as Brian guides you through fun creative expression.

No registration needed, just show up. We may ask you to dust, clean, shelve, or assist with program preparation. For teens ages 13-18 only.

Use our wide variety of board, dice, or card games or play with our Wii, Nintendo Switch or X-box or bring your own game! Events start promptly.

We can help you understand and use computers and other technology. You will get help with software issues like email, Microsoft Office, etc. or get troubleshooting help with your laptop or phone. Come in and let us help you learn. 

We're looking for one teen to help with Storytime in the Park. Tasks include helping move materials to the park, set up and break down of event, counting participants and more

Join Miss Sue for a half-hour of stories, songs, and more to build early literacy skills; a blend of fun and education for children birth through kindergarten & their caregivers/families followed by a half hour of open play and socia

Twenty minutes of nursery rhymes, songs, fingerplays and action for infants, birth to 18 months, and their caregivers. Followed by a special baby playtime.

Family Storytime moves outside to William B. Lyons Park! Meet at the park near the picnic shelter for approximately 30 minutes of stories, rhymes, and songs for ages 3-6 with caregiver, followed by an activity or free play.

Are you an Anchorage teen in 9th-12th grade in need of volunteer hours? Come to the Loussac Library every Friday from 4-5:30pm! We have plenty of tasks that need your help to complete. 

Stop by for some free build time - just bring your imagination!
