We're looking for a VolunTEEN to help at our snowflake making craft table during the Merry Merchant Munch on Friday, Dec. 6 from 2-4:30 PM.

No registration needed, just show up. We may ask you to dust, clean, shelve, or assist with program preparation.

Use our Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, board games, and card games to build strategic thinking and good sporting conduct. Meet new gaming friends, too!

Come get warm and enjoy a movie at the library! Popcorn will be provided. Please call 907-343-4024 for title.

Are you an Anchorage teen in 9th-12th grade in need of volunteer hours? Come to the Loussac Library every Friday from 4-5:30pm! We have plenty of tasks that need your help to complete.

Skill level: requires basic reading and writing ability. 

Learn how to write a letter or thank-you note that will make someone smile, then decorate your own cards or stationery.

We're looking for two VolunTEENs to help set up the course for "Mini-Golf in the Library" happening Saturday, December 7. Working with a librarian, volunteers will build the different holes using found objects around the library.

Get creative and make a work of art! We'll have a variety of art supplies to make whatever you want.

Enjoy an all-ages storytime plus time to browse the library before we're officially open. Arrive as early as 10:00 AM; call 907-343-4032 for entry. Stories start at 10:30 AM. All families welcome.

Time especially for seniors to get one-on-one help with technology, community resource navigation, and traditional library reference.

We're looking for a VolunTEEN to help at our snowflake making craft table during the Merry Merchant Munch on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 12:30-3:30 PM.

Kids in grades K-4 (or any learner) take turns reading to a patient, nonjudgmental, Red Cross-certified therapy dog. Appointments are 15 minutes long. Sign up in person, beginning at 1:00 PM on the day of the event.

Twenty minutes of short stories, songs and lots of repetition to build early literacy skills for children 3 and under and their caregivers.

Join Mr. Red from the Muldoon Library for approximately 30 minutes of stories, songs, and rhymes, live on Facebook! Ideal for ages 3-5 with caregiver, but all picture book enthusiasts are welcome.
