Enjoy the summer weather with storytime on the lawn!

Family Storytime moves outside to Chanshtnu-Muldoon Park! Meet at the park near the orange climbing structure for approximately 30 minutes of stories, rhymes, and songs for ages 3-5 with caregiver, followed by an activity or free play.

We're looking for three teens to assist at our Summer Discovery Mission2Mars program for kids. Volunteers will help with set up and clean up and assist the kids and families with the activities. 

Enjoy astronomy and space exploration activities for youth and families, with material created by The Franklin Institute and Anchorage Museum. 

This session will introduce the research databases available through the Anchorage Public Library, and how to use them to find articles and citations.

To be listened to is a moment of being received without having to prove anything. And who doesn’t need that?

Watch anime! Talk manga! Meet others who like anime, manga and Japanese culture. Programming will vary from month-to month, so come on in and be part of the planning.

We have computer guided basis computer competency course to help you understand and use computers and other technology. Also come in and get help with software issues like email, Office, etc. or get hardware help with your laptop or phone.

Krambambuli Puppet Theater offers wisdom and quality entertainment for the young and young at heart. All families welcome at this silly and heartwarming marionette puppet show! 

We're looking for three teens to help dust, clean, shelve, or whatever else we need done.

Twenty minutes of nursery rhymes, songs, fingerplays and action for infants, birth to 18 months, and their caregivers. Followed by a special baby playtime.

No registration needed, just show up. We may ask you to dust, clean, shelve, or assist with program preparation.

Time especially for seniors to get one-on-one help with technology, community resource navigation, and traditional library reference. 

Finish your own project in a sociable environment. All crafts and all ages are welcome. 

Returning to Alaska this year is Alex Zerbe's Zaniac Comedy Show, which will delight and entertain children of all ages.

Join us for a special storytime and craft celebrating birds! Ideal for ages 3-5 with caregiver, but all families are welcome. 

Join us at the Anchorage Museum's Lunch on the Lawn. Enjoy food trucks, live music, all-ages activities, community conversations and family-friendly games.
